Innovating Love

Here’s quick letter I crafted to a couple of clients, (and we’ve become friends)  and thought I might share it with you.

Lori and Kerry,

I have found that we must always be innovating.  We cannot sit on last year’s success, but must always have another “big hit” in the can, and then another, and another.  If we are always working on the next year, then it’s hard for the competitor to stay on top of us, and info-hack. So our goal must be to have another product in the pipeline ready to go.

We can drive traffic to blogs with Twitter, as opposed to direct sales.  There is an indirect method to the madness, if people get in the rhythm of going to our site, and trusting our links and information, then they will go there and read, and inform themselves.  When they get to the site, it must be short, maybe 400 words and a cool image or two.  They must be able to read our content on mobile phones.

We must also use Twitter to show love.  Someone with a few thousand followers must take it upon themselves to help out those who are not as fortunate, and must retweet them, and build them up and be kind.  This is often harder to do in the heat of the moment, and driving sales seems to be the most important thing in the world, but really we must redirect our thinking to helping others.
